Title The new districts: Solution to our housing problem

In our country's economic growth determines the population growth which in turn determines the need for housing. We will need 130,000 housing units by 2030, which will be about 1,000 units for each municipality. Obviously this is not possible. Yet there are two major real estate projects, namely the Kirchberg and Belval. Belval eg create 10,000 new jobs and as housing. Hence the idea is that actually the new cities and neighborhoods they are not the solution to our housing problem. There will be a greater concentration of activities on the same site which will facilitate mobility. (Michel Wurth - Workshop May 11, 2013)
